Story behind
More often than not, we hope to indulge in a sweet dream without waking up. How wonderful that would be! The main character in the painting is A-hua, a cat that was born in 2022 in Liverpool in North West England. She is covered with a light-blue blanket that was knitted by my mother-in-law in 1970. Physically and chronologically it is not possible but in art everything is possible.  

To enter a sweet dream, nothing is better than being first wrapped by a blanket of love.
